Railways RRB Exam Postponed - Check Official Notice Here!

According to the latest notice released by RRB, Railway exams for the recruitment of RRB ALP & Technician and Group D posts have been postponed. The main reason stated is the unprecedented response of about 2.37 crore applications for both the recruitment drives. As a result, the scrutiny of applications and preparations for CBT are still in progress. Hence, the Computer Based Test schedule for both ALP & Group D will be announced after the completion of these initial processes. As per sources, the exam will take place in December. RRB Group D Exam Date is out. According to Hindustan Newspaper, RRB Group D Computer Based Test will be held from 12th August 2018 to 16th September 2018 on 5 scheduled dates. RRB will be conducting this exam in alphabetical order of the candidates. The first stage of the CBT will be conducted on 12th August whereas the last stage will take place on 16th September. It is estimated that for 90,000 posts of Railways recruitment in Group D & ALP a total of 2,00,00,000 applications have been received by RRB which is far beyond the expectation of Railways Recruitment board. Read further to know the latest RRB exam dates for Group D which aims to fill 62,907 vacancies in the year 2018.

The written examination RRB Group D will to be organised from the month of August to September at 500 centers across the country.It is expected that RRB will soon release the Official Notice for the release of the exam dates of CBT.The candidates who will be selected in the final merit list, will be able to join from the next year.To recruit on the posts under Group D, the interview will not be conducted.Candidates will be selected on the basis of written and psychological test.For the posts under Group D level 1, candidates will be selected on the basis of written and a physical test.
