Piyush Goyal Announces 2.50 Lakh Additional Railways Vacancies in 2019 - Check Details Here!

As per the latest news, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced new job opportunities for nearly 2.25-2.50 lakh people. Moreover, RRB is in process to announce additional 1.50 lakh vacancies that will make it 4 lakh job opportunities/vacancies. This news was declared by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. Read this article to know about the 2.50 lakh additional railways vacancies for the year 2019.

Last year RRB announced 1.2 lakh vacancies for Group C and D, for which the recruitment process is going to be completed by August 2019.

The announcement of 2.50 lakh additional railways vacancies by the RRB was released just day before the Lok Sabha Election i.e on Wednesday 23rd January. Additional to this update RRB also announced 10% quota to the economically weaker section. This reservation will be applicable in the coming RRB recruitment process.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has given a kick start to the year 2019 by announcing 4 lakh jobs to the people. Refer the below mentioned note for more specific details on 2.50 lakh additional railways vacancies for the year 2019 –


Railways Vacancies 2019 Important Note:


The Railways Recruitment Board will advertise the recruitment notification for the first phase in the month of February.

The second RRB Recruitment notification will be start in the month of May.

Both these recruitment process will complete by August 2021.

As per the officials, the economically poor candidates will get benefitted as per the 10% reservation.
